Loving Care Cat Rescue Team
Loving Care Cat Rescue is a group of fosters and volunteers passionate
about saving the lives of cats and kittens. Loving Care Cat Rescue is
not a shelter. All of our cats and kittens live in foster homes until
the time that they find their forever home. Lisa Snyder, Director,
Loving Care Cat rescue started rescuing cats as a child. She would see
the barn cats, hear horrible stories about their lives and would feel sorry
for them. Lisa would bring the cats and kittens home and care for them
with the support of her mother. As an adult Lisa got involved with TNR
in Virginia, Indiana and then Pennsylvania. Lisa learned quickly that
friendly cats and kittens in colonies had nowhere to go. She started to
work closely with a local veterinarian who would put the friendly cats
and kittens in the office for adoption. Eventually, Lisa started to ask
friends and co-workers to foster, and little by little the network of
fosters grew. Finally a crucial decision was made, and LCCR applied
for a 501 (c) (3) non-profit status. That application was granted in
June of 2016.
